Yeno Vaanilai Maruthey – Fall in Love with this romantic climate change.

Yeno Vaanilai Maruthey, a pilot film which delivers a heart-warming love story in high quality standards. The story explored might be the usual we have seen, but YVM still awe us with some magical moments, dialogues and strong performances. The protagonist (Karthik) narrates his first love story to his daughter and in parallel to us, building up the curiosity of whether his first love was a success or not forms the remaining beauty of YVM.

Arun and Nakshathra impress us with a strong performance and their chemistry is so convincing for a lead romantic couple. Arun has indeed put in so much efforts in showing variations as the story travels through different moods and the final confession scene is too good. His commitment to show variations in the physique too before and after wedding is commendable. Nakashtra makes us fall in love with simple, cute reactions and apt dialogue deliveries. The comedian character has also done a great job and his one liners at proper moments are rib ticklers.

Punith, writer and director of the film has made a high quality film of romance which excels in technical brilliance. As the captain of the ship he has received ample work from all the departments, and have assembled them in right proportion to give a feel good rom-com. His narrative follows a dialogue driven style and with dialogues being so fresh and real, makes the audience fall in love with the romance of the lead pair. Great job Punith.

With a runtime of close to 30 mins, in addition to the excellent background score YVM also has 4 romantic and beautiful songs, “Yeno Vaanilai Maruthey”, “Un Aaram Arivu Thimira”, “Neeyada Neeyada”, “Ennai Kadathathey” which on mp3 release , sure to become ringtones. The editor Tamilkumaran must also be credited for maintaining a proper phase of the film and keeping in short for 30 minutes.
